The Clear Take on Water and Wastewater Today

There is No Room for Complacency When It Comes to Regulatory Compliance

Alan MeyerRegulatory compliance may seem to most like the Hydra monster in Greek mythology. The Hydra had many heads and every time someone cut one of them off, two more heads would grow back in its place. The task of managing Federal and State regulatory compliance at times can seem overwhelming and monstrous to those not up-to-date on regulations. Compliance is an area of water and wastewater management that is ever-changing and continually multiplying in scope. These rules and regulations are put in place to protect the health and safety of the citizens we serve and the systems we use to deliver those services.

That’s why we are committed to staying current on compliance. It’s necessary in the industry and it’s imperative in communities. That includes staying up-to-date and proficient in all the laws and regulations for the water and wastewater industry. We know federal law and are adept at handling all EPA requirements as well as the unique and myriad regulatory issues that are specific to the states in which we provide services. When we partner with cities, towns and municipalities, we apply our vast knowledge and experience to provide the proper testing, record keeping and maintenance that is required to assure compliance at all times. That’s our job. From our corporate staff, to our region managers, to our operators on the front lines in communities across the Midwest, we are committed to the strictest adherence when it comes to maintaining the highest level of regulatory compliance for our partner communities. It’s important to us and it’s important to the people we serve. It’s one of the big reasons that we have enjoyed so many long term partnerships.
