» Water/Wastewater Operator II
North Bend, NE
Immediate opening to provide day-to-day operations and maintenance of the water/wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems. Will also be responsible for reading water meters.
Possession of a NE Grade II wastewater and Grade III water certifications preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Experience in water/wastewater helpful. Strong mechanical skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently as this is the only position in North Bend.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record to operate company vehicle. If incumbent lives within 10 minutes of North Bend will be able to drive company vehicle to and from work. Outside 10 minutes but within 30 minutes will have a company vehicle available upon arrival to the plant.
The wastewater facility is an activated sludge treatment plant with UV disinfection. The water treatment facility is a filter plant for the removal of iron and manganese.

» Water/Wastewater Operator III
Arlington, MN
Immediate opening for a certified operator for our Arlington, MN location. The Class B wastewater treatment facility is a mechanical plant with 3 raw sewage pumps, grit removal, bar screening, 4 aeration basins and 2 final clarifiers, post aeration and anaerobic digester and 2 sludge storage tanks. There are 6 lift stations in the collection system. The Class C water treatment facility consists of 2 water supply wells, a gravity flow plant with chemical addition, a clear well and elevated storage tank. The distriubtion system consists of hydrants, valves, etc.
Prefer Class B wastewater, Class C water and Type IV bio-solids; however, will consider an incumbent who can obtain the required certifications within 6 months.
Must live within 10-30 minutes of Arlington. Will be required to work weekends and on-call based on a rotating schedule.
Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record to operate company vehicle. If incumbent lives within 10 minutes of Arlington, will be able to take vehicle home.

We are taking applications for our Apprenticeship Program. The Apprentice will enter into a written agreement with PeopleService. This Agreement will outline the requirements of the Program -- Apprentice agrees to be relocated upon completion of Program & the Company agrees to pay for correspondance courses, testing to be certified in the water/wastewater field, provide on-the-job and safety training.

Tripoli's water system is an iron removal filter plant with chlorination, fluoride addition and polysphosphate. The wastewater facility consists of aerated lagoons with blowers and communitor with lift stations. This facility also handles the collection & distribution system as well as performs meter reading of water meters.
