Seeking a MN Class A wastewater operator. This position will be responsible for the activated sludge treatment plant with bar screen, aerated grit tank, overflow basin, primary clarifier, 2 final clarifiers, 2 effluent filters, chlorination unit, 1 primary and 1 secondary anaerobic sludge digester.
Incumbent will be required to live 10-30 min of Benson, possess a valid driver's license with clean record to operate company vehicle.
Rotating weekend/on-call hours.

Immediate opening for an incumbent who possess a Class D water/wastewater certification but will also consider non-certified applicants with an expectation to obtain certfications. Strong mechanical skills to perform maintenance/repair of small engines such as pumps, etc. Must possess valid drivers' license with clean record. Required to live 10-30 min & work weekends/on-call based on rotating schedule. Must demonstrate a desire and ability to learn and progress through the Company, gaining water/wastewater certifications.

Otsego/Greenfield, MN
Immediate opening for a certified operator to perform a variety of skilled, technical and administrative work for our Greenfield & Otsego contracts. Class B water/wastewater certification but will consider lower certification levels with expectation to obtain higher. Must possess valid driver's license with clean driving record to operate company vehicle. Live 10-30 min from Otsego. Required to work weekends based on rotating schedule.
Otsego uses ground water for its drinking water source. Eight water production wells, six submersible & two submerged turbine. There are two wastewater treatment facilities with oxidation ditch processes. Treatment includes phosphorous removal, UV disinfection, post aeration, aerobic digestion, gravity belt thickeners & sludge storage.

» Entry-level Position
Western Iowa - Council Bluffs Area
This position will assist at several locations throughout Western Iowa - Carter Lake, Crescent, Missouri Valley, Risen Son, Silver City, Pacific Junction, Pony Creek, Malvern, etc. There will be chemical addition for water at most of the locations, pressure filtration for water in Silver City, lagoon systems, collection and distribution systems and a pressurized collection system in Pacific Junction with 230 pumps and pits. Risen Son is an activated sludge plant. The main duties in Carter Lake are meter reading, turn-on/offs and repair/maintenance of utility meters - no water/wastewater treatment.
Must live within 10-30 minutes of Council Bluffs.
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Prefer Iowa Grde I water/wastewater/distribution certs. Will consider non-certified applicants with an expectation to obtain certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean record to operate company vehicle.
• Experience in water/wastewater technology or related field helpful.
• Strong mechanical skills to perform maintenance/repair of small engines such as pumps, etc.
• Ability to handle mulitple projects, work independently and establish harmonious working relationships.
• Skilled at providing prompt resolution to problems and conflicts as they arise.
• Committed to excellent customer service and ability to communicate in written and verbal form.
• Computer knowledge helpful.
