Missouri Valley, IA
Immediate opening for IA Grade II water, wastewater and distribution certification. (Will consider Grade I certs with a requirement to obtain Grade II within 6 months.) Valid drivers license with clean driving record. Class B CDL with tanker and air brake endorsements preferred or ability to obtain within six months.
Ability to operate a computer with knowledge of Microsoft products.
Required to live 10-30 minutes of facility. Will be required to work weekends and on-call based on rotating schedule.
Water system consists of 3 production wells with ancillary pump house. The wastewater treatment plant is a 3-cell controlled discharge lagoon. Distribution and collection systems consists of various mains and valves. This position will be "responsible" operator.

Arlington, NE
Immediate opening for a certified Nebraska water operator possessing a Grade III. Wastewater certification not required but helpful. Must possess valid driver's license and clean driving record. Working knowledge in the repair/replacement of electric motors, hydraulics and mechanical equipment. Ability to prioritize and organize work without close supervision. Ability to operate a computer with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
The water treatment plant is an iron manganese removal facility which includes wells and one elevated storage tower. The wastewater system consists of one lift station. Collection and distribution system consists of various mains/valves.
Required to live 10-30 minutes of facility and willing to work weekends and on-call.

» LEAD OPERATOR
Clarinda, IA/Maryville, MO
Immediate opening to serve as team leader in the day-to-day operations in Clarinda and Maryville. Possesseion of an IA Grade III water/wastewater preferred plus MO A water/C wastewater certifications or ability to obtain the MO license. Experience in surface water chemistry strongly preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record. Required to live 10-30 minutes of Maryville and will be required to work a rotating schedule based on two 10-hour shifts.
Both water systems are a surface treatment facility. Clarinda's wastewater is a trickling filter and Maryville's is a 4-cell lagoon. Distribution, collection and meter reading are part of the responsibilities in Clarinda.
