People: The Power of PeopleService

Alan MeyerIt’s bittersweet in the halls of PeopleService today. Dennis White, a really good man, is retiring on February 28 after 40 years of service in the industry – 26 years with us. Dennis can aptly be described as knowledgeable, conscientious, mentoring, and reliable. Indeed, he is a fount of knowledge who is more than happy to share his knowledge with others. Among numerous other contributions through the years, Dennis did an outstanding job of managing the reverse osmosis water treatment plant in Riverside, Iowa (a real gem to visit sometime). You will read what the folks at Riverside, and others who have worked closely with Dennis, have to say about him here. Dennis would likely not leave his position as Region Manager in Iowa if not for the opportunity to be nearer to his daughter and grandkids in DeKalb, Illinois. The good news is, Dennis leaves us in great shape with the thorough job he’s done to keep everything up-to-date in his region, with his solid partnership with Steve Robinette who will now be the Region Manager in Iowa, and with his superb mentorship of Heath Draeger who is fully prepared to serve in the Assistant Region Manager role. We’re lucky to have Region Managers who register 20 and 30 years with us. That loyalty and longevity speak volumes about the Power of PeopleService – the depth of experience and mutual respect for the knowledge each brings to the table on behalf of our customers. Heath will tap into this knowledge and culture of respect as he joins this company of peers who welcome him with open arms – as I know you will, too. As for Dennis, he is truly one-of-a-kind and we will miss him, though I know Dennis stories will fill the halls of PeopleService for years to come.
