The Clear Take on Water and Wastewater Today

Bethany Missouri is Booming

BethanyIn Bethany, Missouri, City Administrator Jonne Siemons is enthusiastic about all that is happening in her city. There is a flurry of major projects underway and much to be excited about. Three years ago, Bethany was in the middle of building a new wastewater treatment facility when the city decided to partner with PeopleService. “The move was sound for the city. PeopleService was able to onboard most of the employees we had in place,” Siemons said. “We had a very capable staff, but the move to PeopleService helped us to do more. They were there to help us troubleshoot the issues that arose with the new water and wastewater facilities and they have made a positive impact on the city.”

George Hulet was Bethany’s water and wastewater superintendent at the time of the transition and supported the city partnering with a contract operations firm. According to George, “PeopleService gave us options we didn’t have before. They had a proven record of success, the knowhow to optimize what we were doing and helped us provide even better service.” Siemons added, “The new water and wastewater facility is about to come online. Bethany is repaving its streets, completing a new mural project, we are about to embark on major improvements to a dam and at two of our lakes, we are adding in new docks and other amenities. It helps to have good partners and PeopleService is a good partner for Bethany.”
